Under the direction of Christian Deichstetter, the musicians of the Salonorchester of the “J.S. Bach” Municipal Music School play lively melodies and classics of salon music. Salon music has its origins in an instance supported by the ladies, in the evening parties arranged by them. This gave rise to music of its own kind, in smaller, different musical ensembles.
