Getting married at the Belvedere Palace on Pfingstberg
Perhaps as a child you dreamed of getting married in a palace? This dream can come true for you at the Belvedere on Pfingstberg. In the months from May to October, the Standesamt Potsdam and the Förderverein Pfingstberg e.V. offer you the chance to experience an exceptional wedding in a very romantic setting high above the city of Potsdam.
Located in the eastern tower of the palace, the “Maurische Kabinett” (Moorish Chamber) with its resplendent decor ‒ including ceiling paintings, marble floors and noble red, blue and gold tiles ‒ is an unforgettable venue in which to say “I do.”
On the Pfingstberg, the most beautiful and important day in life can be celebrated in many ways: Toast together with your guests at a festive reception following the wedding ceremony or enjoy a large wedding reception. And while your guests enjoy the most beautiful views of Potsdam during a guided tour of the historic ensemble, you will have plenty of time to have your wedding photos taken.

Dates for Your Wedding
If you would like to get married at the Belvedere on the Pfingstberg, please begin by contacting the Standesamt Potsdam (Potsdam Registry Office) with your intended date. They will arrange a wedding date with you, confirm it, and officially notify the association offices of the Förderverein Pfingstberg. Shortly thereafter, we will get in touch with you.

Prices
Registry Office Wedding:
For the use of the “Maurisches Kabinett” (Moorish Chamber) a fee of 750 € has to be paid to the “Standesamt Potsdam” the registry office of Potsdam.
Photography Fee:
Bridal couples who are married in the Belvedere Palace are exempt from a photography fee.
In addition to palace admissions based on the number of people in attendance, bridal couples who are not married at the Belvedere, but who have photos taken inside and in front of the palace, are required to pay a one-time photography fee of 270 € plus entrance fee per person to be paid in cash or with EC card at the castle cash desk. The entire wedding party including the photographer is limited to six persons. Accompanying people also have to pay the regular entrance fee per person. The fee can be paid in cash or with an EC card.
Shootings on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are only possible with prior notification and at least four days in advance at . Please let us know the desired date and time for the planned shoot. In case of non-registration we cannot grant access on these days.
Please note: Parking at the palace during the shooting is not possible. Only the bridal couple can be let out at the Belvedere, but the car must be driven away again. Please use the public parking spaces nearby for you and your guests. Thank you for your understanding!
Organization of Your Wedding
The Förderverein Pfingstberg e.V. will gladly advise you in advance about organizing a wedding reception or hosting a smaller event following a ceremony on Pfingstberg. If you’d like, we can also make recommendations for musicians and caterers. The Standesamt Potsdam (Potsdam Registry Office) will consult with you about the ceremony. On the day of your wedding at the Belvedere, members of our staff will personally accompany and assist you and your guests.
