Music, theater or storytelling on Pfingstberg are truly royal experiences – and a true labor of love for the Förderverein Pfingstberg. The group of people who committed themselves to the preservation of the ensemble at the end of the 1980s, and from whom the Förderverein Pfingstberg emerged, drew attention to their cause through concerts and similar events held in front of the Belvedere. Bringing culture and people together in lively and enjoyable ways at this location is and has been one of the association’s primary concerns since its beginnings.
Every year, from Easter until October, the Temple of Pomona on Pfingstberg is transformed into a small treasure trove when artists from the region use the interior cella to present their works in changing exhibitions.
The history of the Pfingstberg ensembles in northern Potsdam is multifaceted and unusually captivating. A permanent exhibition allows visitors to travel back in time over the past 150 years.
For Artists and Event Organizers
Cultural events take place throughout the year in and around the Belvedere Palace, especially in the warmer months. As an artist, you, too, could perform on stage on Pfingstberg during “Culture in Nature,” or send us your application for an exhibition at the Temple of Pomona. We would also be glad to make contact with you if you are an organizer of a special event looking for a cooperation partner.
